Injecting The Biggest Developments
🥷 What’s happening: Pineapple Financial has launched Pentiv, a platform that aims to help mortgage brokerages manage recruiting, onboarding, retention and renewals.
🥷 Why it matters: The mortgage software industry has so far focused on automating the loan process itself, from underwriting to document processing. Pentiv focuses on the brokerage aspects.
Pentiv’s tools run inside Pineapple’s network before they touch independent brokerages. The platform includes a recruitment agent that can suggest promising mortgage professionals, and an alternative mortgage renewal agent that flags clients whose renewals are coming up or at risk, suggests when to follow up, and automates some paperwork.
Pineapple is also about to tokenize its $10 billion real estate portfolio on Injective and bring its AI agent operations onchain, though it didn’t specify a timeline for this project. That would put both Pineapple’s mortgage records and the tools that work on top on Injective.
🥷 The bigger picture: Pineapple has already tokenized $1 billion in residential mortgage records on Injective, and aims to bring its full historical portfolio of more than 29,000 mortgages onchain.
Expanding The Financial Ecosystem
Updates on the latest network of dApps, validators, builders and more helping Injective expand its financial use cases.
Injective has published a guide on Canary’s proposed Staked INJ ETF, which is expected to list on the Nasdaq under the ticker INJC. The article details how the fund would work:
BitGo will hold its INJ and part of the tokens staked, giving investors a way to get INJ exposure without setting up a wallet or choosing a validator.
Staking rewards will be counted as a part of the business so they will be reflected in the share price.
Gulf Labs, the blockchain arm of Thailand’s GULF Group, has become a validator on Injective.
Gulf Labs will participate in governance and work with Injective on tokenization, stablecoins and education across Thailand.
The Injective Foundation launched the Injective Trench Treasury, a fund that rewards projects bringing users and builders to Injective.
The fund has initial INJ rewards for the Sprout and RunUp communities, two memecoin launchpads on the network.
The fund has acquired 10% of the supply of NinjaCat, a Solana memecoin that lets holders earn INJ from its revenue.

Highlighting the builders, communities and ecosystem players within the Injective blockchain.
Eric Chen, co-founder and CEO of Injective, spoke on the Talking Tokens podcast about the growth of RWA perps across equities, FX, commodities and pre-IPO markets; how enterprises are bringing supply chains and real-estate onchain; and the network’s SEC transfer agent registration.
MISTBOX is developing a platform on Injective that lets users open sealed boxes containing real-world luxury items, such as watches, bags or rings, that can be redeemed.
A recent Injective network upgrade passed a governance vote that would turn on fixed gas fees for Injective’s core trading actions on mainnet, such as placing and canceling orders, deposits and withdrawals.
This lets traders and apps set fees based on published amounts instead of estimating the cost of each transaction.
